Cave Art Horse 🐎🐴🔥

In January, third graders continued exploring Cave Art. This time, we decided to investigate about the colours and the paints that people used in the Stone Age. We discovered that they used natural pigments from rocks and plants as well as charcoal from the fire. They didn't have brushes, so they made them from leaves, wings, hair or they used their fingers to paint.

We tried to imitate the colours they used by creating a horse with chalk paint and charcoal.

Take a look at the result!
